The result
HBI Australia were successful with the tender and have delivered schedule of work s with a reduction of 50% less project duration time than the two other tender submissions. The project involves extensive building repair work internal, external and structurally.
After being engaged initially by the Home Owners Warranty Insurer, Calliden over a 5-year period to inspect and report on building defects within the 15-unit complex in Casuarina, I was then engaged by the executive strata committee to complete a rectification scope of works and aid them with the tender process, with a rectification cost in excess of 2 million dollars. I recommended HBI Australia to the committee as a professional building contractor with the capabilities to tender and manage a complex rectification project such as this, as they have been involved with other large loss projects that I have been involved with other the years with a high standard of work and successful outcomes reached on each occasion. HBI Australia were successful with the tender for the Casuarina project and completed works which were technically challenging, and with the added issues with dealing with numerous tenants and owners on a strict time frame. I have no hesitation in recommending HBI Australia as industry building professionals for large loss and similar projects as this.
