The challenge
HBI Australia partnered with loss adjusting firm Asta Group in early 2014 to rebuild the La La Land nightclub and adjoining office located in the main street of Byron Bay after a severe fire destroyed the premises. The complex scope of works involved asbestos contamination, demolition and a structural rebuild of the property., while minimising impact to the neighbouring businesses and general public in the adjoining busy commercial arcade.
The result
HBI Australia successfully carried out the difficult project efficiently, with both the building owner (insured) and Asta Group pleased with the repair and impressed by the fast, dynamic and professional HBI Australia experience.
Thank you and your staff and tradesmen for all your efforts in restoration of our building which was severely damaged by fire in January last year. Having never really heard of HBI before, we were somewhat apprehensive regarding you, but our doubts were soon allayed – everyone was very helpful, professional efficient and obliging.
