We do a lot of insurance remediation work often related to storm events with HBI as one of our key clients. We started out with HBI about 5-6 years ago when they first set up in the northern NSW area. It has been a good partnership.
HBI are terrific to work with, their assessors are well qualified which means they get the right information to us from the start which makes it easy for us to get on with the job.
HBI gets feedback from us about costs of materials and labour which
stems back to the information the assessor gives us in the first instance. The systems they use are really good too which makes the job easy from start to finish. Sure, we are only human and from time-to-time mistakes are made but if we are transparent, they are very fair and reasonable. If they are unsure of any costings or invoices etc they follow us up, we explain what has occurred and we go from there. It’s a good relationship built around transparency and shared values.
The work we do with HBI has a lot of variety, and they are more than happy to support us using technology to get the best outcome which we really like. One day we might be doing thermal imaging to look for leaks and, on another day, using CTV camera inspections for storm water damage or drones for roof inspections.
Another good thing about HBI, compared to other companies we work for, is that their communication and regular updates with the homeowner is top notch. This means that when we arrive on a job, we find that the homeowner knows what’s happening and is less stressed. This is great for us as it means we can concentrate on doing the best job for them and making it right again.
